Let’s kick things off by loosening up and laying the groundwork for what’s to come.
In this first week, you’ll focus on gentle stretching of your fingers, thumb, wrist, and forearm to restore mobility and ease stiffness. You’ll also begin introducing light hand coordination drills and early grip-strengthening work to activate your muscles in a safe, supported way.
This phase is about setting the stage for your full recovery—without rushing your body.
Week 2: Ignite Endurance and Flexibility
Now, it’s time to dig deeper and enhance your control.
This week builds on your foundation with longer-duration stretches to increase flexibility and improve tissue length. You’ll also begin isometric strengthening exercises—where your muscles fire without moving the joint—to improve your stability and fuel your confidence without overloading your healing wrist.

Next, we’ll introduce eccentric exercises, which strengthen your muscles as they lengthen. These are crucial for developing your power and control while reducing your risk for reinjury. You’ll also continue mobility work as needed, but the focus in this phase shifts to creating strong, responsive muscles that support every movement you make—all day, every day.
These are the moves that help you open jars, lift weights, and hold a racquet again—free from hesitation or fear.
Week 4: Functional Strength and Real-Life Confidence
It’s time to reclaim your strength in motion.
This final week is all about applying your progress to real-life tasks. You’ll perform functional, weight-bearing, and proprioceptive exercises that challenge your wrist in more dynamic, full-arm movements.
